Arriving from Mt Maunganui: Head Southeast on Maunganui Rd, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto State Hwy 2 heading to Te Puke.
Take the exit toward Sandhurst Dr, Turn right onto Sandhurst Dr (signs for Mangatawa/Stadium). Continue onto Mangatawa Link Rd
Turn left onto Truman Rd (Destination will be on the left) use entrance 1
Arriving from Whakatane/Te Puke: Follow State Hwy 2 heading to Mount Maunganui/Tauranga.
Take the Sandhurst Dr exit from State Hwy 2, and turn left towards Mangatawa, then left onto Truman Lane.

Arriving from Hamilton and Waihi: Drive from SH 1, State Hwy 29 and State Hwy 29A towards Papamoa.
Take the Sandhurst Dr exit from State Hwy 2, turn right towards Mangatawa then left onto Truman Lane.

The main entrance No 1 will be open on Truman Lane for access to Mercury Baypark. Make your way along Baypark Boulevard to the public parking areas which may vary from time to time.

Public Transport: Mercury Baypark is not currently on a direct public bus route. The nearest main bus stop is a short walk away at Bayfair Shopping Centre. View timetables here.

Travel Planning for Major Events
As Mercury Baypark is situated on an intersection between two State Highways, delays will occur at major events when arriving and departing the venue. Mercury Baypark will operate traffic management plans, however stadium patrons are strongly advised to plan their travel carefully and prepare for expected delays.
Helpful tips when travelling to major events:
Walk to the venue if you live nearby
Share your transport and fill your car with friends and family
Take a taxi, uber or shuttle (due to traffic congestion drop-off may need to be in neighbouring streets and then you can walk a short distance to the venue (ie Te Maunga Lane, Exeter Street, Sandhurst Drive). Note: drop-offs on SH29A are dangerous and prohibited.

Mercury Baypark is committed to providing an excellent event experience for all patrons.
Main entrances to the Arena and Stadium are fully wheelchair accessible, with lifts available for access to all floors. All event spaces and meeting rooms are wheelchair accessible with the exception of Premium Lounge in the Stadium. Click here for more information on each of our event spaces.
There are designated mobility parking spaces & we can provide accessible seating for events when required. As we are a multi-purpose venue the seats are set according to the event.
