Bay Dreams 2018

2nd Line Up announcement added to the already hot line up Machine Gun Kelly, The Upbeats, Maribou State (DJ Set), Written By Wolf and still more to come!

DJ Snake, Pendulum, Foster the People and many more!

Bay Dreams 2018 – presented by ZM – returns on January 2, 2018 with an impressive line-up, firming up its reputation as ‘the summer music festival you just can’t miss’.

Now in its third year and following on from last year’s sold-out event, the organisers of Bay Dreams have yet again upped the ante, booking an array of the hottest talent from all corners of the globe.

Spearheading the first line-up announcement is French DJ and producer extraordinaire DJ Snake, whose collabs with the likes of Major Lazer (‘Lean On’) and Lil Jon (‘Turn Down For What’) have made him one of the most sought-after names in the business.

Aussie drum and bass heavyweights Pendulum, who have long been favourites on the festival circuit, also make up on the star-studded line-up. As do Californian indie-popstars Foster The People, who have just released their new album SACRED HEARTS CLUB.

Also on the ‘must-see’ list is Brooklyn hip-hop collective Flatbush Zombies whose biggest hits include ‘Still Palm Trees’ and ‘Bounce’. Other international big hitters include Ocean Alley, SuicideBoys and Opiuo.

They’ll share the stage with some of the most exciting names in Kiwi music right now, including dynamic duo and one of New Zealand’s most exhilarating live acts Sachi. Drum ’n’ bass legends Concord Dawn also wave the flag for local talent at this year’s festival, alongside one of the newest names shaking up the music scene, electro-pop princess Theia.

The festival will once again be held at Baypark in Mount Maunganui and punters can expect a new layout, with the focus on more space and comfort.

The Bay Dreams pre-party on January 1 also returns in 2018. Although serving as a warm-up teaser to the main event, the pre-party has become an integral part of the Bay Dreams festival and next year it promises to be bigger and better, with promoters set to reveal more in the coming weeks.

A new feature of the Bay Dreams 2018 experience will be Dream City, which provides camping and its own exciting line-up of entertainment.

Bay Dreams 2017 sold out in record time, and with an equally exciting second line-up announcement to be made in August, you’ll need to get in quick to secure your spot at the festival of summer.

General admission sales then start on Monday August 7 at 7pm.
